-THANK YOU to everyone in our wonderful community who was able to join us for a wonderful night of celebration! This past weekend Leonard Rosens Granddaughter, Julia Rosen Swift, visited her families legacy in celebration of the 60 year anniversary. We had a full house at the Cultural Park Theatre on Saturday evening, and everyone had great things to say! Julia was presented with a Key to the City of Cape Coral by Mayor Sawicki, City Council was honored for all their work at the Cultural Park Theatre this past year, and multiple awards were presented to the Gunterberg Charitable Foundation's Culliton Family for not only sponsoring such a wonderful night, but for all their community minded deeds done in Cape Coral!
"The Wizard of Tarpon Point" made a very magical appearance as well! The last time this play, written by play write Norman Marcus, was played at the Cultural Park Theatre it was over 10 years ago! They brought it back for the 60th anniversary, and what a rare treat it was! The Cultural Park Theatre did wonderfully, and had the Theatre filled with laughter as it poked fun at its beloved Cape Coral.
Our Silent Auction was also a wonderful success as a fundraiser for the Cape Coral Historical Society and the Cultural Park Theatre! The Cape Coral Historical Society & Museum would like to greatly thank the following companies for their generous donations to our baskets:
